If you want to learn "patience" and make money, I would suggest you do what I did long ago, and many others before me did......take a good portion of that money you are gambling with in the stock market and sink it into a good piece of real estate in a good location.

Then check on it a few decades from now....you might find yourself very wealthy. Real estate has its ups and downs, just like the stock market, but nothing beats it for long-term gains. "They aren't making any more land in good locations....you better get some".

I mean this sincerely, and could cite you chapter and verse of how owning good real estate for a long time is a great investment....but somehow I think you must might be figuring that out for yourself.

A peripheral piece of advice here might be....don't bet AGAINST the real estate market. And I think that's what you might be doing, or you wouldn't be complaining quite so much.
