and this time around they've already used up their share buyback cash. I think it was Moody's recommending against such actions in '98 as it would weaken their ability to survive a downturn. It often feels like they're playing this like there's no tomorrow. It is after all getting rather costly to run a mania these days having to buy up all the media sources and such. And how do you gain more influence when you've already got them all -g-. They may need a new corporate funding game after this. Buffet had mentioned he thinks he won't be putting much in equities in the future, but rather buying companies, companies that make money if you can believe that! -g-
