If it gets exuberant, like this did, then I'll aready have a couple of targets overhead and would just get out if they are hit. No use waiting around -- it got exuberant, so by definition it's a fat trade. The other way, if it's just grinding, then I just follow it with a stop until/if it gets legs, then I switch to target mode. Works for me. An important mental trick is to move away from the buy/sell button after a winning trade. They so rarely let you get away with it.
