But business isn't picking up for anyone, if anything, getting worse.

I disagree totally. This is not a bear trap at all. When Fed cut rates five times each time 50 basis points. And Alan may cut another 50 basis points on June 27. This is not
bear trap. Go figure.

Sorry John , wrong term.

The decline over last few days have caused many to sell and become increasingly worried. One person that trades bought NT today and was asked by the brokers assistant who was worried "what happens if it drops to $10" . They said they were getting a flood of Shorts coming in. If that isn't bulish I don;t know what is, everyone is looking at Nt going to $12 Cnd and are too afraid to own it long. They have been burned so many times that they are afraid of losing money again yet are prepared to pay $12 for it. Chances are it never gets there , when everyone expects and wants the same thing , they never get it .

When I say Bear trap, I mean that the bears are coming out of the wood work and the markets are weak , the trap is set, the mrkets rally and they must cover.

all we need now is a Supreme court announcement in Favor of MSFT . I got a email last night form the courts advising everyone that this verdict could come at any time and not just in the usual window of opportunity which is Tuesday and Friday mornings. Why is that you say, because MSFT controls so much of market direction that a positive outcome announced by surprise could kick the markets up just like a surprise Fed rate cut did . This will be used as another piece of the Feds arsenal to lift markets at just the right turning point IMO
