That could very well be the reason behind that exercise. They get at least 2% in fees on $8 B, that is a cool $40 MM.

I don't think they have to worry about Kraft's IPO.

It's oversubscribed 7-8 times, and they've raised the price range. That shouldn't have any bearing on action in the markets right now.
