Thanks for the update Karen.

I think its quite possible that temperatures are rising and that human activity is causeing it but if this is true the temperature increase is to small and the trend is to short to distinguish it from normal climate changes. From the 40s to the 70s there was a cooling trend if we acted to counter that (perhaps by providing incentives for massive CO2 emissions) it might have turned out to be a bad thing. I just think we should wait for a better diagnosis before we schedule major surgery...
