ASP = Awfully Sorry People...

who got completely "sucked-in" by the incredible "hype" that surrounded this company, as well as numerous other DotBombs that were constantly being "pumped" by the CEO's, numerous expert "completely objective" professional analysts, Wall Street commentators, numerous financial articles, TA & FA "experts" etc...etc...etc...

Those who couldn't see the writing on the wall regarding this particular company, and were blinded by that old "investing" mentality adage to simply "buy & hold" the great companies...and you'll be fine. Many of those who "held," and weren't smart enough to "dump" their shares, when the CEO started dumping his (or never knew he was)...not to mention the huge number of other "insiders" who were doing the same...have been completely screwed. IM(Very"HUMBLED")O, Steve Frank in his interview with NJ a few hours ago on CNBC, summed up the entire current sorry state of affairs regarding this company extremely well. I don't know how others felt about the interview. I personally felt Jain came across extremely poorly, and appeared to be completely inadequate and ineffective as a spokesman representing the company.

Who knows for sure what the future will bring for this company, but right now the "present" seems to really suck big-time in many peoples' opinion...unless, of course you bought 10 million shares at the low of $1.56/share, shortly after April Fool's Day this year.

I personally know of a retired senior citizen 80-year-old couple, who had sold all of the only stock they had ever owned (MSFT, which represented a major chunk of their very-limited entire lifesavings, and it had always done very well for them, for decades)...putting almost all of it into GNET, holding it all the way up, and through the "merger" with INSP (I know, some will say they're "Awfully Stupid People"). But they really believed in Paul Allen's vision, and his high respect for the GNET management team...especially it's co-founder Russell Horowitz. They are now not merely "humbled"...but can just barely pay for their required medications and numerous health treatments, let alone food. Yep...Awfully STUPID people, all right! But their's certainly isn't the only very sad "ASP" story in this entire INSP/GNET DotBomb fiasco.

Perhaps someday I'll share what Paul Allen said to me during our conversation following the CHTR shareholder's meeting last week, regarding what has happened to his very "major" investment in GNET (now INSP). Hint: He didn't seem to be "A Happy Camper" about it at all.

Roger (just another very STUPID "ASP")
