I have no extreme bullishness at this time. I mentioned the H&S top in the making last week not one person said anything about it at that time, now everyone is talking about it. I'm basically flat in my account with a weight to bullishness because of the fed cycle as I wait and see the H&S top become a reality or not. My bullishness since the bottom in April has been right on. Like said earlier, I feel the length of the bear was enough to take care of the sellers, and there was no need more vol. then what we saw in April. I expect the bull market to resume if we get better visibility. I said two weeks ago (maybe not on this thread), that we are entering the put up or shut up phase of the bull run, that's what we are seeing now, and that's when I started to use caution and hedging with the QQQ. Like I said earlier, I don't have a good feel one way or the other for direction of the market short term, when that happens I do little to nothing. I have just repeated and summed up most everything I have been saying over the last weeks or so, I'm sorry if that isn't enough, but enough for me.

thank you zeev, an extremely well written post and should be something of a "standard" for this thread, which cares nothing about about bull or bear religion, but just wants to be on the right side of the trend.

You are a gentleman and somebody who sees the markets thru a more logical perspective, are you a decendent of commander spock -ggg-

me i'm a street fight-un dood, and i doubt that we can expect many in the market like you, because the market is so emotional, people's attachment too their own perceptions and money is so emotional, but that is exactly what creates opportunities at the extremes.

Hi Zeev, as you know pretty well the convertible game, do you know how to find if a convertible has a floor or not : I've going through CORR Sec filling that is issuing some convertible senior notes and the only thing I've found is this : excerpt from edgar-online.com

"These Notes will be
convertible into COR Therapeutics common stock at a price equal to $40.10 per
share, subject to adjustment in certain circumstances. The Notes will bear an interest
rate of 4.5 percent per annum, will have a five- year term and will be redeemable by
the company any time after June 15, 2004. COR Therapeutics has agreed to file a
registration statement for the resale of the Notes and the shares of common stock
issuable upon conversion of the Notes within 90 days after the closing of the offering.
The offering is expected to close on June 11, 2001, subject to certain closing"

I'm quite surprise that a company may issue some convertible without having to disclose the convertibility rules or at least disclose the maximum potential dilutive effect (+infinity in some case <G>).
