Excellent points! now all we need is the market to cooperate. In all honesty, and mind you-I really do not "have a clue of any value ,except my own" I see this possible outcome more so every day. What bothers me,as always,is the orchestrated effort by those who know to continue the manipulation for all it is worth. Priming the pumps-in keeping two paces ahead of the masses is the "leg up" in continuing this charade

You are right energy has had it's run and the sector had become very obvious near the end too, very typical end stage rally.

re: Only a prolonged slowdown could make people change their minds but that is something to be decided in many months.

That's my worry, that's why I have said we are in the put up or shut phase of the bull run. But I disagree with your decision time frame. In the first quarter companies were expressing a lack of visibility for not having any forward looking statements, I believe now they should have a better handle on what they have in front of them, at least four to six months from now. So, I feel we will be getting a much clearer picture for the end of the year coming up real soon. The question that needs to be answer is the following. Will the market accept a pushing out of the recovery till next year? Or will the recovery happen as the market is expecting? I feel we will be getting the answer with-in weeks. That's why the JNPR and the NOK warnings were so market moving, on two fronts. Domestically and euroland slowdown. Near term the bull case is based on the faith of a recovery by the end of the year, long term we know, at least you and I know, <g> tech will be back, at least hope the god it is. I would hate to find out that what we have now ends up being the end all to be all.
