There was someone who used to post here called cosmicfarce. He was fond of showing off his scientific knowledge. He posted some stuff on the Tunguska explosion in Siberia that he read about, not researched, just read about and accepted as fact. When I told him there was another theory about the event he went into a complete flutter. I had not researched it either but I knew some people personally who did. And while their research was only an idea CF went into complete over drive to defend the other theory. That's not science anymore, it's fanaticism. geocities.com physicsweb.org
