Bop, I don`t know who on this thread you`re calling a bear. Just because someone disagrees with your bullish stance does not make them a bear. I think you have it wrong who was first to throw a demeaning or derogatory comment.

Your post where you say The coming correction will set up the second leg of the new bull market, which started in April.

I ask
What criteria do you use to determine whether we are in a bull or bear market?
and give a link to some history behind 5th rate cuts.

Your reply
the cathartic activity and the move off the bottom, supported by fed moves.
Message 15924036

Which I found funny because the link I just posted to you stated history showed 5th rate cuts are a sign of weakness
LOL Sounds like a recipe for a bounce but hardly an excuse for a new bull market.

Your reply
LOL, Sounds like you are eyes are closed. As far as I'm concerned, we are bouncing in trading range. Check it out, start looking at stock patterns, many are moving along in nice sideways action, while others are trading in channels already.

I`ve got news for you, my eyes are open and I look at over 500 charts a night every night.

I still don`t see what you are seeing to make the case that this is a new bull market
Bouncing in a trading range or moving along in a nice sideways action does not make a new bull market either.
Message 15925282

You say the haircut we just had is a just a normal selloff
And bull markets never take a pause. <g> It's just another sell off, in long line of sell offs to come. Normal, been happening since trading started under the tree. We will just have to drag you along.
Message 15925359

It could be an oversold bounce and a pause in a bear market
And bear markets never take a pause either.
Way to early to call this a new bull market but if it makes you feel better be my guest.

Your classy response.-ng-
Another punk! What's with the bulk of the bears on SI anyhow? The need for off hand jabs is most telling of punks. Deteriorating discourse is another sign. It's as if they go to bear school to learn how to rattle bulls, as a method toconfirm their thinking. Bizarre behavior. It takes a certain mindset to be likethat.

I was expecting a more detailed response from the Silicon Investor year 2000 Technical Analysis winner.

I do have some advice. Don`t buy stocks that break below tee pee tops and are leaking money like a sieve on a simple stochastics crossover. It`s bad for your image and pocketbook.

No Regards,
Jim
