Answered in more detail in another post.

First, the world will need a lot of CPUs. China, ROW, future upgrades in U.S. Intel's prowess in designing and manufacturing them ensures a healthy flow of profits, I think.

Second, inertia and procrastination tends to hold me in Intel stock. I don't really know of other companies I'd rather have my money in.
