William, Groundzero, Jack, others . . . I finally made a decision on where to place my IRA account. I decided to go with OptionsXpress. They've turned out to be a great broker who allows me to do just about anything I want in my IRA, so long as I don't use margin. I did a partial transfer and executed a few trades including, buy-writes, naked puts, covered puts, and straight equity trades. I'm very satisfied and I'm in the process of moving the balance of my retirement account over to them.
