The Cinema display uses an ADC connector rather than DVI. So you need a card that supports this interface.

The original Cinema display support ed DVI but is no longer available. Maybe you could get a used one on Ebay.

All of Apple's current line is ADC compatible. (ADC integrates USB distribution, Power and the digital video interface into one connector. Saves a lot of cables. Yet another good reason to own a Mac.
