From your post:
"The areas of growth were Western Europe and the rest of the Asia-Pacific region which enjoyed sales of $3.8 billion (up 16 per cent) and $1.2 billion (up 12 per cent) respectively"

<< The Windows server market grew seven per cent in Q1 to $3.2 billion, and the Unix market slipped two per cent to $6.5 billion. >>

How many times does this information have to be printed before the SUNW crowd gets the message?

MS Windows is taking a larger and larger part of the server market.

What remains of the server market after MS has its way is being scavenged by IBM and SUNW and IBM is taking the larger piece of this shrinking market.

IMO,
Dave
