<<spx closing below 200 week moving ave>>

Good point. I like that one (200 wk MA) as a marker of secular bears. On the same theme, on the weeklies there's a really bodacious head & shoulders top setting up in the SPX, with the left shoulder in 7/98, the head at the all-time high in 3/00 and the right shoulder (?peak) 4 weeks ago.

The neckline is rising beautifully and currently sits at 1100 or so. This sucker measures to SPX of 550, so it "bears" watching, methinks...<G>

i don't like the looks of it, although it could still be a C. or it is the B of a developing a-b-c the other way, similar to '87. some of the sectors that i thought would perhaps be rotated into have instead gotten weaker...not a good sign.
