there are bull market outside bigcap tech.
to give you an example :
all the generic drug makers for example, are in super bull market. ivx teva taro adrx, beautiful charts. guided up earnings to boot.

H, that worries me as well, but then I go and look at what they do with their money, and I see that today, despite the massive decline, they kept buying two calls for every put. I would say that the majority still see that as a "buy the dip" opportunity rather than a real decline. Yesterday for the first time in a long time, there was some put selling, but we have gone back to the "dark side", and the equity P/C ratio is under .5.

DH, since I have some here labeling me as a bear, not you specifically, I think you have a point but the market needs to see earnings improvement of some sort.

I said it over a month ago in that just because we "have seen the worst" doesn't imply we are going to improve. But, Nancy may have said it best in that there are some sectors that are quite bullish and rightfully so.

What's your take on CSCO? It's looking like 18 is the next stop and if it goes below that, it could lead the NAZ down quite a bit.

Funny, I see the exact opposite.. This morning, all the bear threads I frequent were turning almost entirely bullish...
