During an office visit, a doctor and an old man talked about how George W. Bush was doing as President.

The old man said, "Bush is a post turtle."

The doctor asked for an explanation of "post turtle."

He said, "Did you ever drive down a country road and come across a fence post with a turtle balanced on top? You know he didn't get there by himself, he doesn't belong there, he can't get anything done while he's up there, and you just want to help the poor thing down. That's a post turtle."

Then do yourself some good and check out Benjamin & Jerold very thoroughly before you entrust them with your IRA. I've been unable to find any corporate information on their website, such as how long they've been in business, how large they are, etc. IRAs aren't covered by FDIC, so it's important that the broker handling your account is financially solvent,

even if you aren't.
