Step 1: Go to the Silicon Investor Stock Screener Step 2: Enter the criteria you wish. We began our scan by choosing the "NYSE" exchange, the Services sector and the Retail (Department and Discount) industry. Under the Fundamental Criteria section, we then specified that the company's market cap must be at least $15 billion, the P/E ratio must be less than 30, earnings per share must be at least $1 and the earnings per share growth rate must be at least 15 percent. Under Price Criteria, we specified that the stock price must be between $20 and $45, and under Volume Criteria we specified that the average daily volume must be at least 2,000,000. Step 3: Save the scan. On the results page, simply enter a name and click "Save Template." Every time you visit the stock screener, you will be able to perform the search without entering the criteria again. Step 4: Research the results!
