Now I may still have a problem with government funding but I am not even certain of that and I would not seek to impose a ban on non government funded research.

Basically my position is really up in the air here. Unlike abortion where I have come to a conclusion or the death penalty where I am pretty much permantly undecided/on the fence, here I am still feeling out my position, so it may swing more quickly then is normal for me.
