They set up a mechanism to make sure that the people were in a position to resist government abuses. I'm going to try one more time. "The people" want the kind of government we have. You and your militia have no right to forcibly take that away from them. When the government starts acting in a way that displeases "the people" rather than just you and your fellow travelers, then it's time to call up the militia. Fight the government under those circumstances and you're a patriot. Fight the government when it's mostly doing the will of the people and you're a terrorist. Yes, it's a bitch when the world doesn't give us what we want. Karen
