Good morning Paul, FO stocks may be under pressure today. ML cuts GLW.

07:26 ET Texas Instruments (TXN) 34.02: Prudential reduces FY01 est. to $0.24 from $0.35 and
FY02 to $0.30 from $0.55 to reflect the continuation of soft bookings trends. Firm maintaining numbers
for Q2 as it appears that company will not need to pre-announce this qtr.

07:15 ET Corning Inc (GLW) 17,35: Merrill Lynch lowers near-term rating to NEUTRAL from
Accumulate. Recent field checks suggest that results in GLW's high margin fiber business (20-25% of
sales) over the next few quarters will be below firm's worst case scenario. Reduces FY01 est. to $0.75
from $0.85 and FY02 to $0.80 from $1.00.

07:10 ET Silicon Storage (SSTI) 10.67: After the close, company lowered Q2 earnings outlook to
$0.00-$0.03 (consensus $0.06); company sees revenues of $60-$68 mln vs $83 mean estimate; cited
excess inventory at customers and continuing slowdown in new orders.
