I have a real time news feed from Cybercorp, saw the 'Mikey sells 10M' news hit at 13:48, the stock immediately started tanking, although the NAS started down also, which I'm sure only helped matters along for Dell on the downside. In addition to all the others, the wires today had news items on Lambert unloading 100k shares, and VP Thomas Green unloading 100K shares. I know, must be that 'semiannual window' that they HAVE to sell during. <ggg>

Regards,
John

<<<I hope people are getting the hint that things are not Rosy in Dell land. >>>
OK, this convinces me the price war is real. Since Cpq and Gtw are talking tough and plan to stay in the game
regardless of losing money, things will get real nasty and even personal.
MSD and Mort selling shares seems a defensive measure since the bear talk will continue with an unknown result on stock prices. If all the biggies decide to stay in the game, they will rack up some marvelous losses
in the overall industry which will lead to even more bad press.
In this situation, I agree with what Dell is doing-cut prices to the bone, take a bit lower margin, much greater market share, and get this war over with ASAP. Sept and Oct will be the telling months with back to school sales.
