Yea,

I think these range bound markets test every ones resolve.

All I am comfortable is buying during bottoms (which I think this is) - leveraging aggressively only at the initial price markup or consolidation and then waiting out the top.

I always buy early but have been fortunate enough to sell early as well.

I would be more nervous here as a short than worried as a long.

The longs time to worry will come in the next 12-18 months.

If the shorts get another volatility dip - I'm a buyer and will welcome being faked out.

So I can go either way.

I just think that this range bound price action HAS to be harder on shorts with big gains vs my recent longs that have just popped up. I'm ok with a retest back to the pivot point or a false start. I've learned to expect it and feel lucky if it doesn't happen. If it doesn't happen on 50 % of my stocks I'm hot on the selection process and adding to the failed stocks.

I'm beginning to salivate on JDSU below 15 - I'm thinking it's a deal in the 12 - 13 range. Might be a 6-9 month wait at the most????
