Carolyn, a few comments regarding Steve Frank...

He's a graduate of Harvard, and a veteran Wall Street Journal reporter, with many honors and awards.

He's also one very sharp cookie, who certainly does his homework...and who certainly won't let some jive-talking, wheeler-deeler, pump-n'-dump artist get away with trying to pull the wool over his eyes.

Steve Frank, a four-year veteran of "The Wall Street Journal," covers the Internet sector for CNBC as part of the network's joint venture with the newspaper. In addition to his coverage of breaking news, he conducts daily interviews with leading figures in the Internet industry on the "Internet Investor" segment that airs daily at 4:50 pm ET on CNBC's "Market Wrap."

Mr. Frank also writes a weekly column, "Playing the Net," for "The Wall Street Journal Sunday."

Prior to his current assignment, Mr. Frank was a "Wall Street Journal' reporter covering the commercial banking industry. He has been named one of "30 Under 30" Top Financial Journalists by TJFR Business News Reporter for four years running (1997-2000).

In 1997, Mr. Frank was a member of the Wall Street Journal team that was awarded an Overseas Press Club Award for its coverage of the Korean financial crisis.

Mr. Frank is a 1995 graduate of Harvard College, where he received a bachelor's degree, magna cum laude in social studies and was elected to Phi Beta Kappa. As an undergraduate, he served as Editorial Chairman of the Harvard Crimson. He has also studied at the Free University of Berlin, where he was a Rotary Foundation Ambassadorial Scholar.
