HONG KONG, June 14 (Reuters) - China Unicom Horizon, the arm of state-run carrier China Unicom Group that is building a massive CDMA-standard mobile phone network, on Thursday signed international roaming agreements with nine carriers, a CDMA industry group said.

China Unicom signed roaming deals with Canada's Bell Mobility, U.S. carrier Sprint PCS, Iusacell of Mexico, KT Freetel and SK Telecom of South Korea, KDDI of Japan, Telecom New Zealand, Hutchison Whampoa's Hutchison Telecom in Hong Kong, and Australia's Telstra.
