Yes, Biodiesel is really an interesting alternative fuel Terrence. It's great for farmers, and great for our energy independence.

But when I read statements like this one....:

"The use of biodiesel drastically cuts harmful emissions such as carbon monoxide, unburned hydrocarbons and particulate matter compared to petroleum-based diesel, and reduces air toxics by up to 90 percent."

....I have to ask myself why everytime I overcrank the gas heat on my Wok, the peanut oil starts smoking severely and sets off my smoke alarm.

Curious thoughts to ponder... :0)

Btw, here's a quick link to blending Bio-diesel with regular diesel. It mentions that one of the downsides of bio-diesel is its susceptibility to gelification in cold temperatures (which is why they blend regular dieself with it). They suggest bio-diesel be kept above 50 degrees Fht prior to blending.
