I'm no expert about hydrogen, other than in its incarnation as one of the world's deadliest substances, dihydrogen monoxide. dhmo.org However, I believe it is a bit difficult to handle. Also, as I said, gas is too cheap and the oil companies are making too much money, not that they shouldn't try.
