The kind of comments that poster made tells me that he rarely gets out of his office or home. If he did, he would quickly develop a revised set of expectations.

I also do not agree with his "large short positions" comments. True for a handful of stocks, but inaccurate with respect to the broader markets.

I am slowly but surely adding to my positions. I am also more inclined to let them ride. I think investors are going to find the relentless, grinding, grim news tough to deal with over time, particularly as they have already lost a few front teeth in the last NAZ melt. I expect each down leg to be increasingly more aggressive for that reason. Nothing like accumulating losses to assist in the "throw-in-the-towel" decision.
