It is too bad the term paper didn't present the true story,,, but mostly the manufactured, after-the-fact, "history" that gluts most school textbooks. You might have been better advised to consult Milton Friedman's excellent research into the actual root causes that led up to the Great Depression, and the strong evidence that Roosevelt's socialistic and anti-Constitutional meddling may actually have served to extend the Depression right into the war years instead of shortening it.
