Gas and energy prices had already skyrocketed during the election, and remain high. However, companies are more optimistic about supplies for the summer, and therefore crude prices are dropping. Haven't followed California closely, but everyone agrees there is a problem with inadequate production stations. Maybe the situation has stabilized, relatively, given the time of year. (It is not summer yet, but spring).

What could it all mean? You are a fantasist.....

If the price of milk had skyrocketed in the same proportions as our energy did last year, we would all be paying $198.00 for a gallon of milk!

Ca is getting ready to file a lawsuit against FERC stating that they failed to lawfully execute their duties to maintain reasonable profit margins in the energy sector.

We have had no running blackouts since Jeffords changed to Independent. Yet, we have had many hot days that sent temperatures soaring into the 100 degree category. We haven't even had a stage 2 alert which means we are below a 7% reserve supply.

No coincidence.......the Senate is now willing to investigate the problem.

I wonder if Trent Lott will have a serious reduction in his campaign donations next time he runs! LOL
