Well, which is it, then? Should we look at a chart of aggregate-corporate-debt-to-gdp or should we look at industries on a case-by-case basis? Yesterday you asked me to look at a chart.

My new business partner and old friend just moved here from Frankfurt this spring... he is absolutely amazed at the agressivness in courting the consumer at all levels compared to the old country. Phone sales, junk mail, signs everywhere: He keeps saying... who's going to buy all this stuff they're pushing on me?? Who's supporting all those stores over there with the same stuff?? Pretty funny really, it's soooo different there, he keeps wanting to know "who would take that job, and how does that store make any money being open 24/7??" "Why do those people work those hours? They have kids, where are the kids?"

Caveat: Valley of the Sun is the most over retailed place on the planet.
