With the crazy weather we have, I now put tomato cages on the toms and the peppers. I use paint drop cloths to cover them when it looks like it is going to be chilly. The ground is warmer than the outside and it helps to move their growing along. I am ready for some home grown toms..Toasted tomato sandwiches...

Am really far behind here...but there is one REALLY good thing about the NW weather....you don't have to buy multiple weather wardrobes....stuff for fall and a few pieces of summer gear seem to work pretty well all year around...
