Joe - Re: "Transmeta Corp will unveil faster notebook processors at the Technology Exchange Week conference (formerly PC Expo) in New York City at the end of the month. The firm is racing with rival Intel Corp to be the first to deliver smaller and more power efficient chips built on a 0.13-micron process. ..However, contrary to what some reports have suggested, the firm will not unveil its first 1GHz chip at the show. A source familiar with Transmeta's plans told ComputerWire yesterday that a 1GHz Crusoe is unlikely to surface before the first half of next year."

Hmmmm.. a new 0.13 micron process - a new CPU design - and they STILL can't hit 1 GHz?

Sounds like trouble in paradise for Crusoe !
