Do you think it has something to do with the heat generated from Athlon that affects other part of the system ? I have an 3 years old PII 266 which begins to behave strangely and I am now able to pin down to the AGP display card(or the slot) as I can kind of 'fix' by unplug and replug it in. gary

Let's see - statistically 100% of your AMD systems have problems - and 100% of your Intel systems run rock solid. Care to re-post your results on the AMD Mod thread? Paul

Why would I joke about something like that? One of my Duron systems has started hanging every night, and my Athlon-DDR system hangs intermittently. The i815/Linux system has been absolutely rock solid. So in your opinion, what is the issue? Is this a software problem or a hardware problem???

Do your kids use any of those computers? Have you added any programs to those computers? Windows media player? CD burning software? Jim
