SOX and COMPX generating buy signals. SOX looks to close at the low of the day. I would have like to see if close at 614, two intra-day support levels above to confirm the reversal from the oversold condition.

3:30PM ET Indices are off their lows, helped by some recent activity tied to tomorrow's triple witching options expiration... As to be expected, volume has picked up, particularly at the NYSE where more than 1 bln shares have traded... The overall tone, though, remains quite negative as evidenced by the A/D line at the NYSE and Nasdaq... The ratio of down volume to up volume at the Nasdaq has improved from earlier, but still remains discouraging at 9-to-1... Chip, chip equipment, telecom equipment, and software stocks have led the tech sector's decline.
