OT, Bob, RE: Do you think the SIA will be able to pull a fast one on the congressional subcommittee today?

Given the level of understanding of the securities business in Congress, I suppose anything is possible.

Still, though, the SIA's proposals on analysts is so blatantly noise that I find it hard to believe that even Congress could find any of their proposals substantive.
