That's where I heard the story.......kind of brings the point home for all to understand. We aren't just blowing smoke when we talk of price gouging! We now have scientists at the Berkeley/Lawrence/Livermore labs working on a method where we can reduce the total power levels coming in over the power grids. This would reduce total energy consumption significantly. They are testing how low a voltage one can use with appliances and equipment before you cause damage. We will all benefit if we need to import less. This info can be a great help to all the western states that are experiencing a water shortage. Ca has conserved an additional 11% below last year's consumption level. We will learn to live with less energy and the energy crooks can go try to victimize other states. If we all can reduce our imports from the knowledge gained at Lawrence/Livermore then the energy companies will be their own victims.............boo hoo!! Pat
