EMC ceo quit to join NTAP's Network Appliance Canada LTD. bigcharts.com ORACLE ORCL partnership with NTAP means the world's largest software house extends NTAP's marketshare and NTAP's storage software to all those Oracle database dominated enterprises "inside the door" and Oracle runs the internet business to business and business to consumer e-commerce world. That's more NTAP earnings too. bigcharts.com But if you look at my post last week on the CFO magazine article, you will see also that storage will grow about 8000% in 2 years. That is a nice chucnk of change for NTAP and its share of the total marketshare. This was corroborated by a statement made by NTAP CEO Warmenhoven, at the end of his ON24 interview following the Merrill Lynch storage conference on the GROWTH of NTAP's storage marketshare which now gives his statement context. Don't forget NTAP is the leader of NAS storage and NAS is the lowest TOTAL COST OF OWNERSHIP TCO for all storage solution, the key, in a recovery from the tightness of the recent economic downturn.
