It's not likely that Washington will be able to decide on how it gives back money to taxpayers. The recent tax bill is a great example of hype in lieu of substance.. Infrastructure expenditures, which in some cases are labeled 'pork barrel' are two or three year projects. If private debt levels off, or begins to decline there will be few sources of expenditure to fund economic expansion. Moving social security money into IRA's is likely to become a much less popular idea if the economy does move downward and takes stock prices with it.

There seem to fewer and fewer easy answers to the developing situation. .
