No sh$t. And they were Must Have's according to all the brokers and analysts. Bottom line is the capitalization. $100 Billion is tough to justify, but $16 Billion sure isn't for profitable companies of these sizes.

with GLW market cap at 16 billion, msft could buy them out of petty cash, buy ATHM out of the coffee fund, set up the worlds biggest fiber optic loop for broadband, pump msn over it - oh, and buy the DOJ so they're not a problem. larry
