I lost so far enough on $/Eu options to keep me out of this game until it is clear, what will happen. A probable case is (of course) a rather lively climb at least to 95, which would map into adouble-bottom formation, which could mean a parity within 6 mo.

I'll wait a little. There'll be enough dough to be made on that one. I'll probably go for Pound vs Euro first.

Reserve Banks in Philadelphia, Richmond, and Atlanta all cite the deleterious effects of foreign competition and/or the high dollar on industry in their area.(Recent Beige Books have frequently mentioned the negative impact of the high dollar on manufacturing.)
