Arlington Hits Thirteen In A Row

Vancouver, British Columbia
Wednesday June 13, 3:12 pm Eastern Time
CDNX Symbol: AVM

Arlington Ventures Ltd. (the ``Company'') announces that it has successfully sidetracked the Surfluh 64-14R well. The well is located in the main producing area of the Raisin City Field in Fresno County, California.

The Surfluh 64-14R is the third successful well in the Company's previously announced 11 well drilling program for 2001. Log analysis, sidewall core analysis and mud log shows indicate the well encountered in excess of 100 feet of oil and gas bearing sand intervals. Arlington will focus on completing the gas bearing zones of this new well.

The Company has drilled 13 consecutive successful wells, three of which have been drilled in 2001. Arlington plans to drill eight additional wells during this year's program. Management estimates that a successful 2001 exploration/ exploitation program could increase cash flow by as much as 30% and significantly increase proven reserves.

The Company's proved reserves in the San Joaquin Basin of California have been independently estimated to be US$100 million (NPV 10% discount rate - see Company's news release dated March 15, 2001). Arlington Ventures Ltd. is a junior oil and gas company primarily engaged in the acquisition, exploration, development and production of natural gas and crude oil properties in North America.

The foregoing information contains forward-looking statements and forecasts, the realization of which cannot be assured. Actual results may differ significantly from those forecast. Inaccurate geologic and engineering interpretations, the volatility of commodity prices, unbudgeted cost increases, unforeseen delays in operations and operations that prove less successful than anticipated are risks that can significantly effect the Company's operations.
