<< To be fair, maybe you should first reveal your intent for your disturbed attitude regarding that post. Are you a MSFT shareholder? >>

Did I say I had a "disturbed attitude regarding that post"? I'm not disturbed, I'm interested. Maybe there's something of interest that the poster knows that I don't know. I am a MSFT shareholder and have been for over a decade. I am at a point where it would be a good move to further diversify this particular position that has appreciated several thousand percent over this time period. I seek out all information regarding MSFT that may or may not effect my investing decisions.

Why is it so difficult for this person to explain the logic behind what he posted?

What about the information in his post was relevant in ANY way to this board, or to MSFT investors?

It's a simple question.

IMO,
Dave

<< Looks to me like a very good short IMO. >>

On this, we totally agree. I see the Nasdaq falling back to 1,650 within the next few months, if not sooner. If that happens, I see MSFT at around $58 with a possible spike lower on a very short term basis.

The question is what happens next. Does the economy show signs of recovery with improved financial results occurring in the middle of 2002? If so, the market should start to move higher by late 2001. I see this as the likely scenario. Short term I'm betting the market has a very rough time, but I also feel that medium term (one year out), the Nasdaq will be testing 2,800.

IMO,
Dave
