It's worse than Nixon or Johnson during the Vietnam War. Very very humiliating for the US. And these are not just lefty radicals either. The mainstream International press is making fun of Bush as well. And he simply cannot defend himself because he doesn't know what to say. Today I am embarrassed to be an American. Bush is a laughing stock and so are we. The Allies need us but they will not cooperate with Bush in any way more than they absolutely have to. Simply no respect for the man or his wrong-headed policies. Contrast this to the intelligent hands-on global leadership of Bill Clinton who unified all free nations and brought us the greatest prosperity of our lives. I told you so will be what democrats and independent moderates will be saying for the next 3.5 years.
