"You will never understand that the foetus is her body," Since that's not true, I doubt I'll understand it either. The Foetus genetic material is only half from the woman, the other half comes from the man. Further to that, once the egg and sperm meet, a new biological entity comes into being. It is genetically unique from both the parents. The foetus is not the woman and the woman is not the foetus. That is a biological fact. . "It is not to tie her down and cut her open to proclaim: "This--is OURS."" That describes what abortion does! Where else does that happen? Except sometimes they let the head get halfway out before they jam those scissors into the child's brain. Of course they are careful not to damage any thing useful, Cant have all that perfectly good genetic material go to waste now could we? But you don't endorse that, just turn your head for a moment, will you? "Ah, Nurse hand me those large scissors over there".
