Attiene,

I appreciate your longing for things to return to "the way they were", I really do. But there comes a point when you have to realize what you can change and what you can not change. You need the strength to change those things you can and, just as importantly, you need the ability to recognize those things you can not change and accept them and try and move on with your life within the parameters that are at hand.

Bitterness will not change those things and will grow within you until it consumes your every waking moment.

So, again, I ask you to look around your community, your state, your country and the entire world and find the place where you feel most comfortable and try to make a decent life for you and your family. Longing for the "good ole days" will not do you or your family any good.

I hope you can find happiness and peace within the world in which you were born and in which you exist.

Sincerely,
Mike
