I think you're putting words in Meehan's mouth that he never uttered. The way I remember it, he said something to the effect that he didn't see a "crash" coming, and he wanted to be picking up shares during the recession, not after the recession was over. One thing I know with certainty is that he NEVER said anything REMOTELY close to "to the moon".

He has a head on his shoulders, ya know...unlike most published market strategists.

yeah, I agree with JSAmpy -- you've completely mischaracterized Mehans calls -- and he's had several since that one. He's no clown. He makes a lot shorter term calls than some -- and doesn't do a bad job at it either if you follow him -- in the one you're referring to he had two targets on the NDX -- one which he punted pretty soon thereafter once the first was fulfilled ...

Last call he made to revisit the Nazdaq lows was premature and he admitted it a few days thereafter -- now, how many pundits do that?? Bill's a different breed ... one of the better technical commentators in the spotlight, IMO

Heck, Haim -- go back and look at his more recent posts

Haim,

On Meehan's last visit (May 11th and 12th) to this thread he was buying puts and short term bearish; here are the links:

So much for those writing for The Street.com and James Cramer ........ CSCO will not see $18 again ......... they all are clowns...... BIG CLOWNS

Hey Cramer could be right, he was just a little early.
What's a week between friends? CSCO will never see 18 again.

A year from now, unless someone looks really hard at the timeline, that call can make him look like a genious.
