For the longest I've thought some of those Francs Marks ... would become gold not dollars. With a President now at the helm who is broadly demonized in the the press of Europe - perhaps....? The socialists of Europe today again proved how little regard they hold for free enterprise.

HONG KONG: CHINA'S MONEY LAUNDRY? - In 2000, according to
government statistics, Hong Kong attracted $64.3 billion in
what the government calls FDI. Not only is this vastly more
than China attracted but there is little evidence that any of
this money was actually invested in Hong Kong. Considering
that Hong Kong in turn invested $62.9 billion in FDI, it's
obvious that this is hot money.
