We have to re-think the use and means of government. People vote and make demands and a democracy gets top heavy. A little shake up is good for the system provided it is in line with the founding principles if the alternative being complete and total collapse. The government is not really afraid of the Tim McVeigh's of the world, the government is afraid of cessation of commerce. The entire world internet system for the USA and world can be shorted out with the flick of a switch in D.C.
